BEATDEP65: behavioural activation for older adults
BEATDEP65 aims to study the effectiveness of behavioural activation (BA) as compared to treatment as usual (TAU) for older adults with clinically relevant symptoms of depression in primary care. The study is a collaboration between Pro Persona, RadboudUMC and several general practices in the east and south of the Netherlands. Half of the participants receive BA delivered by a mental health nurse of their own general practice and the other half receives TAU as initiated by their General Practitioner.
